Apr\u00e8s avoir particip\u00e9 aux premi\u00e8res productions du Roy Hart Theatre, Margaret a continu\u00e9 en tant que chanteuse professionnelle de nombreux genres, du jazz \u00e0 la chanson fran\u00e7aise. Elle a chant\u00e9 en tant que soliste dans le \u00ab Canto General \u00bb pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n
Elle a v\u00e9cu au Togo, en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest, pendant six ans, chantant r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement avec le trio de jazz \u00ab Anima \u00bb. Elle a notamment tourn\u00e9 avec Michelle Bernard dans \u00bb Des Nuits Noires de Monde \u00ab , avec Smith Dancetheatre dans \u00bb Agnes and Walter : A Little Love Story\u2019, ainsi qu\u2019avec ses propres one-woman shows de chansons et de textes en fran\u00e7ais. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9e de recherche honoraire \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Manchester.
