Quatuor Bitchebi

A continuous performance—a staged journey through the colorful soundscapes of polyphonic oral traditions from Sardinia, Georgia, Italy, and Occitania, as well as our own research into vocal harmonics—punctuated by vocal and instrumental improvisations on the duduk.

By bringing a theatrical dimension to our work on timbre, we aim to evoke emotion and open the audience's sonic horizons to distant traditions, stretching from the Caucasus Mountains to Sardinia.
