Workshop description:

This 4-day immersion is an invitation to play with the resonant spaces, colours, and characters of your voice and to take that exploration deeper than a shorter workshop allows. Through the Roy Hart approach, you will have space to let your voice emerge and be discovered, in both group sessions and individual work. Along the way, we will leave traces on paper: sketches and colours that echo what we find in the voice.

This workshop is open to all levels, singers and non-singers alike, who wish to let their authentic voice express itself in a spirit of play and discovery. Those with some familiarity with Roy Hart work are especially encouraged to come and go deeper into the practice.

Led by Stacie Dunlop, singer and certified teacher of the Roy Hart Voice Centre

My connection to the lineage of Roy Hart and Alfred Wolfsohn began in 1993 with my first teacher Richard Armstrong. Exploration into the aspects of the voice, which Richard referred to as “The Muscle of the Soul”, outside of the classical realm was a truly liberating experience. Continued expansion guided by my mentor Edda Heeg has supported me in helping artists find their path to creative authenticity as singers and actors, and any being to Find the Truth in their Voice.
