This is an invitation to embark on a vocal and physical journey exploring our connection to the Earth, the ground, our points of contact, and the support that helps the voice find its security. This confidence and this sense of being held will help us find ease, freedom, momentum, and the drive to move forward, to offer our voice, and to share it.
Surrendering to the Earth’s embrace, releasing our physical tensions so they dissolve into the ground, and awakening this new, confident energy so it can flow freely once more. Then, like lava from a volcano, allow our voice to rise from the ground, to gush forth like hot water from a geyser emerging from the Earth, to express itself, to speak, to reveal itself without restraints, without judgment, without limitations. The goal here is to encounter one’s voice with complete authenticity to nourish one’s identity. The moment of embodied song will then be able to sing you fully.
On the agenda: physical openness and availability, vocal exercises, group explorations of voice and body, individualized time, songs to share, sharing experiences and feelings…
