Advanced, following the themes of ‘Mythical Voices’ of the previous week.
‘A myth is something that never was… and always is.’
We will meet the reality of the ancient Greek mythology in Agamemnon, where Aeschylus writes of the love and care from the people and the individual’s struggle and fate, while kings engage in their power struggles, making harsh decisions that decide the course of the world, meanwhile above them all are the Gods, who must be respected and cared for.
We will present and work with this world through the texts and action of Agamemnon and follow the voices we find there.
Fia will present her solo performance of AGAMEMNON on Friday 29 August.
For those who wish to register for both Ian & Fia courses in a row, a -15% reduction will be applied to this one.
