Writing and Voice Workshop Paris:
Three days to explore the links between writing and voice, to feel how sounds and words complement, nourish, and liberate each other to foster creativity. It is this pleasure of creation, this relaxed exploration, this alliance of words, breath, voice, and inspiration that we want to share with you. Over the course of three days, you will take steps to explore your writing and your voice, reconnect with yourself, and experience creation.

You will listen to the stories told by your voices, familiar or strange, known or new. Specific and varied suggestions, designed to facilitate the writing process, will enable you to compose your texts, inventing and exercising your literary creativity, in the supportive solidarity of the group. The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of experience.Writing and Voice Workshop Paris, led by Catherine Bédarida and Walli Höfinger (artist, voice teacher, Roy Hart method; lives and works in Berlin).

My focus in sharing the voice work with others lies in listening. Listening with the whole body, listening to one’s inner voice, listening to the poetical and musical voice of oneself and others. This focus prepares the path for connection to each person’s voice and developing artistic expression from there.
